Abia State University Uturu’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Godwin Emezue, has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen. The incident occurred at a filling station in Umuekwule, Amachara, Umuahia South LGA, where he was refueling his tank with his wife.
According to sources, three men approached Prof. Emezue at the fuel station, forcibly taking him into a waiting Lexus SUV. During the incident, they also took his wife’s ATM card.
