Princess Charlene Takes On Honorary President Role for Pink Ribbon Monaco

Pink Ribbon Monaco joyfully announced on January 16th that Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene has assumed the role of Honorary President, reinforcing her dedication to women’s health and the battle against breast cancer, a cause the charity has championed since 2011.

Princess Charlene’s alignment with Pink Ribbon Monaco’s values regarding health positions her as an ideal advocate for women’s well-being. Her pivotal role as Honorary President will play a crucial part in advancing the organization’s mission, emphasizing awareness and raising funds for breast cancer research and prevention.

The announcement holds special significance as it precedes the eagerly anticipated fundraising gala and auction at the renowned Monte Carlo Casino on February 2nd. The event aims to support a local lobular breast cancer screening study led by Dr Hugonnet at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace.

In addition to the gala, the community will come together on February 11th for the 12th annual Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk at Port Hercules, coinciding with the Monaco Run, symbolically demonstrating solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.

Natasha Frost-Savio, President and Founder of Pink Ribbon Monaco, expressed gratitude for Princess Charlene’s involvement, stating, “HSH Princess Charlene’s involvement as our Honorary President adds immeasurable strength to our cause. We are honoured to have her support as we approach these significant events, and her commitment reinforces our wish to encourage critical research and support our local community.”
