Governors from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) visited Jos, including Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, and Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.
Among the dignitaries were Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, who is also the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum, as well as Peter Mbah of Enugu State and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State.
During a media address, Governor Bala Mohammed, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, strongly condemned the recurring violence in Plateau and expressed condolences to the citizens of the state. Additionally, the PDP governors donated N100 million to assist the victims in Plateau. The governors also advocated for the establishment of state police.
