Nike, the renowned sportswear manufacturer, has revealed the eye-catching jerseys that the Super Eagles will sport during the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The home jersey boasts Nigeria’s signature green and white colors, while the away jersey features a crisp white backdrop complemented by a touch of green.
With the AFCON finals on the horizon, the Super Eagles, led by coach Jose Peseiro, are eager to secure their fourth title. Placed in Group A alongside hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau, the West Africans commence their journey on January 14 against Equatorial Guinea at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan.
A much-anticipated clash awaits on January 18 when they face hosts Cote d’Ivoire, reminiscent of the thrilling 2013 quarter-final where the Super Eagles triumphed 2-1. The group stage concludes with a match against Guinea-Bissau on January 22.
