President Tinubu has decided to stop ministers, heads of agencies, and other government officials from going on trips abroad using public money. This suspension will start on April 1st, 2024, and will last for three months.
President Tinubu said that any government official who needs to go on an international trip using public funds must ask for permission from him at least two weeks before the trip. The trip has to be very important for the country in order to be allowed.
