The Senate has confirmed Emomotimi Agama as the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Additionally, other appointments confirmed by the Senate include Frank Chukwuogor as Executive Commissioner (Legal and Enforcement), Abimbola Ajomale as Executive Commissioner (Operations), and Samiya Usman as Executive Commissioner (Corporate Services).
This came after Osita Izunaso, chairman of the senate committee on capital markets, presented a report where he stated that the nominees met the requirements to be appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
