Outrage as Pastor Enenche Accuses Woman of False Testimony Over 'BSc in Law'

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre sparked public outrage after publicly questioning the testimony of Anyim Vera, who claimed to be the first graduate in her family with a “Law degree from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).” Enenche interrupted Vera’s testimony, declaring there is no such thing as a “BSc in Law,” and insisted she retract her statement.

The incident, captured in a viral video, prompted backlash from Nigerians who accused the clergyman of unjustly humiliating Vera. Many demanded a public apology from Enenche and criticized his approach to addressing the situation.

Despite Enenche’s assertion, it was later confirmed that NOUN indeed offers an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree, leading to calls for the pastor to rectify his response and demonstrate accountability for the incident. The controversy underscores broader discussions about faith-based testimonies and the responsibilities of religious leaders in handling public statements.
