A lawyer named Eze Victor Agala tragically collapsed and passed away outside a courtroom in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State.
The legal practitioner, hailing from Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the state, collapsed just after exiting the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
Efforts were made to save him, and he was swiftly taken to the Police Clinic. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
While the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has not issued any statement regarding the incident, his friends and colleagues have expressed their grief on social media.
