The family of the late former Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has announced that his burial will take place on February 23, 2024.
According to a statement released by the deceased’s son, Rotimi Akeredolu Jnr., the funeral program will span over a week, featuring various events such as a service of songs, commendation services, special court sessions, a candlelight procession, and a world gyration by the Kegites Club.
The family disclosed that the funeral service is scheduled to be held at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Owo, on February 23.
“This would be followed by interment on Friday 23, 2024. Reception at Mydas Hotel and Resort, Ikare Road, Owo by 1 pm.”
Akeredolu passed away on December 27, 2023, in Germany after a protracted battle with prostate cancer. He was aged 67.
