A Dana Air flight from Abuja to Lagos, carrying 83 passengers and crew, experienced a runway incursion upon landing at Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos on Tuesday morning. The aircraft, with registration number 5N BKI, veered off the runway but all onboard were unharmed.
Kingsley Ezenwa, Head of Corporate Communications for Dana Air, confirmed that everyone disembarked safely without injuries. The airline expressed gratitude to airport authorities and the crew for their swift response.
The aircraft has been grounded for investigation, and relevant authorities including the Accident Investigation Bureau and NCAA have been informed.
Dana Air emphasized that passenger safety is their priority and they are cooperating fully with authorities to investigate the incident.
