Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in collaboration with the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Wura-Ola Adepoju, recently assessed the facilities of the Nigeria Immigration Service. This inspection precedes the implementation of the automated passport application process, scheduled to commence on January 8, 2024.
Starting from this date, Nigerians will have the convenience of applying for and completing their passport application process entirely online, eliminating the need for in-person interactions. The move towards automation aims to streamline and modernize the passport application procedure for enhanced efficiency and accessibility.
