Singer Ruger Goes Solo, Parts Ways With Jonzing World as He Launches Own Record Label

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has announced his departure from Jonzing World, the record label that propelled him to fame with hits like “Bounce.” Ruger, who signed with Jonzing World in 2021, took to Twitter to express gratitude to the label and its founder, @DPRINCEMAVIN, for their support throughout his journey.

In his tweet, Ruger thanked Jonzing World for believing in him but revealed his decision to embark on a new chapter in his career by establishing his own record label, @BlownboyEnt. This move follows in the footsteps of other Nigerian music icons like Wizkid, Kizz Daniel, and Tuface, who have also pursued solo endeavors after leaving their respective labels.

With this bold step, Ruger joins a league of artists who are betting on themselves and taking control of their artistic destinies.
