The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced that, starting April 2024, accounts lacking a Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN) will be frozen.
The apex bank conveyed this through a Friday circular, stating that BVN or NIN verification will be carried out in the near future.
