Daphne Joy, the former girlfriend of rapper 50 Cent, has come forward with allegations of rape and assault against the G-Unit leader, sparking controversy amidst a custody battle over their son.
Joy’s accusations surfaced after reports emerged that 50 Cent was seeking sole custody of their 12-year-old son, Sire, following Joy’s involvement in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In a candid Instagram post, Joy criticized 50 Cent for his alleged neglect as a father and accused him of sexually assaulting and physically abusing her during their relationship. She expressed frustration at his absence in their son’s life and called attention to what she described as his “true evil actions.”
In response, 50 Cent swiftly refuted Joy’s claims through his representative, attributing her accusations to his recent decision to seek sole custody of their son. He emphasized that his priority was ensuring a safe environment for Sire and dismissed Joy’s allegations as “false and baseless.”
