Abhradeep Saha, popularly known as Angry Rantman on YouTube, has tragically passed away at the age of 27. Saha, a passionate football enthusiast and devoted Chelsea supporter from Delhi, India, garnered a large following with his unique and humorous sports commentary.
He rose to fame in 2017 with his viral ‘no passion, no vision’ rant about Chelsea FC, showcasing his distinctive style of minimalistic setting, logical analysis, and passionate vocal tone. With nearly 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, Saha’s content resonated deeply with sports fans.
Saha underwent major surgery and was in intensive care recently, as shared on his YouTube Community tab. Despite efforts to recover, he experienced multiple organ failure and was placed on life support, as reported by his family on social media.
His untimely passing has deeply saddened the sports community, including numerous football clubs and fan clubs who mourned his loss and celebrated his enthusiasm for the game.
In a statement, Bengaluru FC expressed their condolences: “The BFC family is saddened to learn about the passing of #IndianFootball faithful Abhradeep Saha. A West Block Blue through and through, Abhradeep’s love for the game knew no bounds and the passion in his rants will be missed. Rest in peace. #WeAreBFC #ForeverBlue.”
Kerala Blasters also paid tribute, saying: “Today, we mourn the loss of one of the most enthusiastic and passionate voices in Indian football. We will dearly miss his memorable rants and love for the beautiful game.”
The Bharat Army, Indian cricket team’s biggest fan club, shared their condolences: “Thank you for everything, Angry Rantman – may your soul rest in peace! A true sports fan like no other. #AngryRantman #RIP #BharatArmy.”
