The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially appointed German coach Bruno Labbadia as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, effective immediately. Labbadia takes over from Finidi George, who recently stepped down from the role.
The NFF’s decision, approved by its Executive Committee following recommendations from the Technical and Development sub-committee, was announced early Tuesday via the federation’s official X handle.
With this appointment, Labbadia becomes the 37th head coach in the history of the Super Eagles, putting an end to weeks of speculation about the team’s new leadership.
