NBA player RJ Hampton is facing public backlash after a video posted by his ex-girlfriend, social media influencer Tiffany Jeffcoat, went viral, showing him verbally abusing her. In the video, Jeffcoat also accuses the 23-year-old basketball player of physically harming her during their relationship, leaving bruises on her body. The couple shares a 1-year-old son, Halo, who was present during the altercation.

The disturbing footage, shared with Jeffcoat’s 1.5 million TikTok followers, captures a heated exchange where Hampton aggressively tells her to “shut the f* up,” disregarding the fact that he’s being recorded. Jeffcoat claims Hampton caused bruises on her arms, to which Hampton responds dismissively, “Did I punch you? Did I slap you? So shut the f* up.”

The situation escalated further when Hampton made an insensitive comment about Jeffcoat’s mother, saying, “I don’t care if your mom is dead or alive, shut up.” Later, Jeffcoat tearfully revealed in another clip that Hampton had taken their son without notice, leaving her stranded in Oklahoma. Despite calling the police, she was told it was a civil matter, leaving her in distress.

The video quickly sparked outrage online, with many expressing shock at Hampton’s behavior. “The way RJ Hampton is speaking to his child’s mother is beyond disturbing,” one commenter said, while others called for accountability.

Hampton, a former NBA first-round draft pick in 2020, has not publicly responded to the allegations. He is currently playing for the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League. The fallout from the incident may cast a shadow over his future both on and off the court as fans and the public demand answers regarding the troubling accusations.
