Braithwaite’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to co-owning a women’s clothing line, a Barcelona restaurant, and a home-meal delivery service with his wife, Anne-Laure.
Braithwaite’s departure from Espanyol was dramatic; after reporting for preseason training, he activated his release clause, ending his contract abruptly. Following brief talks with Greek side Olympiakos, he joined Grêmio. Despite this move, his ambitions remain tied to Espanyol, where he hopes to make a lasting impact off the field.
