Liverpool are considering a move for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa before the transfer window closes on Friday. The club, which has yet to make its first signing of the summer, is reportedly interested in Chiesa due to his versatility and strong pedigree, despite his recent injury history.
Chiesa, 26, was previously linked with a €13 million move to Barcelona, but the deal fell through, opening the door for Liverpool to explore a potential transfer. With Chiesa’s contract at Juventus expiring at the end of the season, Liverpool is conducting due diligence ahead of a possible bid.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is also close to finalizing a €40 million deal for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who recently underwent a medical. If signed, Mamardashvili is expected to stay on loan at Valencia for the remainder of the season.
