El-Kanemi Warriors, based in Maiduguri, finished second in the Northern Conference with six points after a decisive 4-1 victory over Sokoto. Nasarawa United topped the Northern Conference with nine points, having won all three of their games, including a 2-1 triumph over Sporting Supreme in their final group match.
From the Southern Conference, Ikorodu City gained promotion for the first time in their history, finishing second with five points. Beyond Limits FC topped the Southern Conference with seven points. Ikorodu City’s promotion is a significant achievement for the young club, established just two years ago.
