Cristiano Ronaldo Sets Historic Record, Scores in 23rd Consecutive Season

Cristiano Ronaldo has etched his name into football history by becoming the first player to score in 23 consecutive seasons. The landmark goal came during Al Nassr’s 2-0 triumph over Al Taawoun in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final.

Ronaldo’s performance was instrumental in the match. He provided the assist for Ayman Yahya’s opening goal in the eighth minute, helping Al Nassr gain an early advantage. Ronaldo’s impact was felt again in the 57th minute when he scored a goal of his own, capitalizing on a well-placed cutback from Sultan Al-Ghannam, which confirmed the victory for his team.

This goal not only highlights Ronaldo’s enduring excellence but also marks his first goal of the 2024/2025 season. It extends his incredible streak of scoring in every season since he began his career, starting with his debut for Sporting CP in October 2002.

Ronaldo’s career is decorated with numerous records, including last season’s league record of 35 goals, and his contribution has been pivotal for Al Nassr. With this win, Al Nassr advances to the Saudi Super Cup final, where they will face Al-Hilal on August 17, with Ronaldo poised to continue adding to his storied career.
