The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has announced a 15-man squad for a bilateral series against Kenya, scheduled from July 12 to July 20 in Nairobi. The series will feature five T20 matches and two ODI games.
The team, known as the Yellow Greens, will be captained by Sylvester Okpe and includes players like wicketkeeper Sulaimon Runsewe, Peter Aho (noted for his Guinness World Record in bowling), Elijah Olaleye, Daniel Ajeku, and Abdulmumuni Mohammed. Other squad members are Ifeanyi Uboh, Joshua Asia, Emmanuel Udekwe, Prosper Useni, Isaac Danladi, Vincent Adewoye, Isaac Okpe, Miracle Akhigbe, and Selim Salau.
The NCF expressed excitement about the series, highlighting the opportunity for Nigeria’s cricket team to showcase their skills and competitive spirit against their Kenyan counterparts in both the fast-paced T20 and strategic ODI formats.
