Chelsea have finalized the signing of Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa, securing the 18-year-old attacking midfielder on a six-year contract. Kellyman, an England U19 international, expressed his excitement about joining the prestigious club, calling it a dream come true.
“It is fantastic to be standing here as a Chelsea player. It’s a massive club with an amazing history, so it is great to join,” Kellyman told Chelsea’s official website.

Starting his career at Derby County and spending a decade at the club, Kellyman moved to Aston Villa in 2022. He made his first-team debut last August during a Europa Conference League match against Hibernian and went on to feature in six senior appearances last season, including games against top Premier League sides like Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
Kellyman’s arrival strengthens Chelsea’s midfield, adding youthful talent to their roster ahead of the upcoming season.
