Teenager Arda Guler scored a stunning goal on his European Championship debut, leading Turkey to a 3-1 victory over Georgia in a thrilling Group F match in Dortmund.

Arda Guler lived up to his “Turkish Messi” nickname with a dazzling display. At 19 years and 114 days, he became the youngest player to score on his Euros debut, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s previous record.

Despite the defeat, Georgia showed they belong on the big stage with a spirited performance. They created several chances and will take many positives into their next game against the Czech Republic.
