Nigerian footballer Ademola Lookman has been named Atalanta’s Player of the Month for April and June.
During these two months, Lookman scored six goals and provided three assists, as stated by the Italian club.
This is the first time the winger has won this award this season. Gianluca Scamacca and Ederson finished in second and third place, respectively.
The Super Eagles attacker grabbed the headlines after scoring a hat-trick in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League final victory over Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old finished the campaign with 17 goals and eight assists across all competitions.
