Sixteen lawmakers from the Plateau State PDP, who were sacked by the Court of Appeal, are set to resume official legislative duties on Tuesday, January 23rd, despite the court’s decision nullifying their election.
The lawmakers argue that the Supreme Court’s validation of Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s election has vindicated them as legitimate members. They confidently stated their intention to return when the House reconvenes and noted that constituents from their respective areas would also support their resumption.
