The Federal Ministry of Works has announced a 24-hour total closure of both bounds of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State. This closure, from noon on Wednesday to noon on Thursday, is part of the ongoing rehabilitation works on the bridge.
Mrs. Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, emphasized the critical nature of the rehabilitation work, stating that the bridge will not be accessible to traffic during this period.
To minimize disruptions, motorists are advised to use alternative routes and cooperate with traffic management officials. The Lagos State Government has also issued a notification regarding the closure.
The Federal Government expressed appreciation for the public’s understanding and cooperation, regretting any inconvenience caused by these necessary maintenance efforts.
