Afrobeats icon Wizkid has joined forces with American R&B star Brent Faiyaz for their new single, “Piece of My Heart.” Released on October 18, the soulful track offers a glimpse of what’s to come from Wizkid’s much-anticipated sixth studio album, Morayo, set to drop on November 22 via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records.
The track masterfully combines Wizkid’s smooth Afrobeats rhythms with Faiyaz’s evocative R&B style, creating a love anthem rich in emotion. Produced by P2J and Dpat, “Piece of My Heart” features heartfelt lyrics about unwavering devotion, with Faiyaz singing, “Nothing can tear us apart, you’ve got a piece of my heart.” Wizkid’s melodic delivery adds depth, making the song both captivating and relatable.
