Parchure, beloved for his comedic roles, revealed in previous interviews that he had been diagnosed with a 5 cm cancerous tumor in his liver, which led to significant health complications. Despite undergoing treatment, his condition worsened following a misdiagnosed procedure that impacted his pancreas, further aggravating his illness.
The actor gained prominence in the Marathi entertainment scene, appearing in films such as Navra Mazha Navsacha and Vasu Chi Sasu. He was also well-known in Bollywood, featuring in movies like Partner, Salaam-E-Ishq, Khatta Meetha, and Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap. Parchure’s memorable performances in Hindi TV shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Comedy Circus further endeared him to audiences across India.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his condolences, calling Parchure’s passing a great loss for the industry. He described the actor as someone who could make audiences laugh and cry with ease, hailing his contributions to cinema, television, and theater.
