In early July, Bella was placed in a medically induced coma at SickKids hospital in Toronto due to complications from a lung infection. Her mother, Kyla, shared updates with Bella’s 7.3 million TikTok followers, expressing hope despite the dire situation.
Kyla posted on Instagram that Bella’s lungs were rapidly deteriorating, possibly due to an immune response. Despite treatments, Bella’s condition did not improve, and she passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms.
