Sean 'Diddy' Combs Denied Bail Again as Prosecutors Argue He's a Flight Risk in Sex-Trafficking Case

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will remain in custody after a federal judge denied his bail request for the second time. Combs, 54, faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other serious crimes. Prosecutors argue that his vast wealth and access to private jets make him a flight risk, justifying his detention.

Combs was arrested earlier this week, accused of running a criminal enterprise from 2008, using drugs and violence to exploit women. While pleading not guilty, his legal team proposed a $50 million bail package that included home detention and drug testing. However, the judge expressed concerns about witness tampering and obstruction of justice, citing the seriousness of the allegations.

Prosecutors allege that Combs used his influence to control and abuse women, referring to disturbing incidents like “Freak Offs,” where drugs were allegedly used to keep victims compliant. They also revealed that firearms and over 1,000 bottles of lubricant were seized during raids on his homes.

This case follows a series of sexual assault accusations against Combs, including a high-profile lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, which was settled last year. If convicted, Combs faces up to life in prison. His lawyers have vowed to appeal the bail decision, insisting their client is innocent.
