Rapper Blueface Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for 2021 Club Assault

Rapper Blueface has been sentenced to four years in prison for his involvement in a 2021 assault at a San Fernando Valley club. The sentence, handed down in a Los Angeles court, was delivered in the presence of his visibly emotional parents.

Blueface’s father, Johnathan, was brought to tears by the verdict, while his mother, Karlissa, expressed gratitude to fans for their continued support. She assured them that her son, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, has made significant strides toward personal growth while incarcerated.

The “Thotiana” rapper had previously been on probation for the 2021 assault. However, a recent incident involving drug paraphernalia led to the judge imposing the maximum sentence. Despite the tough ruling, Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, remains hopeful that the rapper could be released sooner than expected. With credit for 440 days already served and potential sentence reductions, Blueface could potentially be out of prison in about 10 months.

This sentencing adds to the ongoing legal troubles surrounding Blueface’s inner circle, as his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, faces possible prison time for unrelated drug charges in Oklahoma.

For now, Blueface’s family and supporters remain hopeful as they await his return.
