Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has credited veteran actor Ramsey Nouah for inspiring her to relocate to Nigeria and pursue her acting career. In an interview on Trending with KimOprah, Adunni revealed that a conversation with Nouah in 2011 encouraged her to leave her modeling career in the U.S. and move to Nigeria.
“He [Ramsey Nouah] was the one who confirmed my decision to move to Nigeria,” Adunni said. “I told him my goals and aspirations, and he gave me the pep talk I needed.”
Although Adunni moved to Nigeria in 2011, it took years before she had the chance to work with Nouah. She described the moment as surreal when she was cast in a project by Nouah. “I had goosebumps. Working with him was an amazing experience. He’s a phenomenal human being, both as an actor and director.”
Adunni Ade has since become a prominent figure in Nollywood, featuring in over 250 films in both English and Yoruba. She fondly reflects on the impact Ramsey Nouah had on her journey, expressing admiration for his professionalism and character.
