Peter Okoye, one half of the famous Nigerian music duo P-Square, has publicly addressed ongoing tensions with his twin brother, Paul Okoye. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Peter accused Paul of spreading falsehoods and disrespecting him and his family, leading to renewed friction between the brothers.
Peter’s letter responded to Paul’s recent claims that he was the primary force behind P-Square’s success, alleging that he wrote and sang 99% of their songs. Peter refuted these assertions, stating the importance of their combined efforts in making P-Square a legendary music group.
Peter expressed his frustration over Paul’s refusal to acknowledge his contributions and the continued public belittlement of his work. He also pointed out that Paul’s actions, including siding with their older brother Jude during past disputes, have caused significant harm to their relationship and the group’s legacy.
The Okoye brothers, who reconciled in 2021 after a bitter split, now face the risk of another fallout. Despite the ongoing issues, Peter insisted that he is not in competition with Paul and urged his brother to stop fueling the divide. He ended his message by wishing Paul well and asking for peace to focus on his music.
