The Nollywood community is in mourning following the passing of Chief Adedeji Aderemi, fondly known as Olofa Ina or Baba Olofa Ina. Colleagues, including Saidi Balogun, shared the news of his demise.
Saidi Balogun expressed his condolences on Instagram, writing, “Goodnight Legend Chief Adedeji Aderemi alias Olofa Ina.”
The late actor was a revered figure in Yoruba theatre and film, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
Born on May 15, 1950, into the family of Late Chief AbdulSalam Aderemi and Late Madam Aisha Aderemi in Ede, Osun State, he emerged during the reign of Late Oba John Adetoyese Laoye, the then Timi of Ede Land. His legacy in Yoruba cinema will be remembered by many.
