The management of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has refuted claims made by the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, regarding the existence of a will. The management clarified that Mohbad did not leave behind any will, dismissing the assertion as “false and misleading.”
In a statement shared via Mohbad’s Instagram account on Monday, the management addressed several points to provide clarity:
- The Police Authorities are conducting an investigation, and the autopsy results are expected to take a couple of months before being shared.
- No member of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer has communicated the existence of a will or any thumb-printed document to the family or the public. The management emphasized that if such a document existed, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry, urging everyone to refrain from spreading false information.
- All accounts owned and controlled by Mohbad during his lifetime were placed on a Post No Debit order on September 12, 2023, and this order remains valid. The accounts will be properly handed over to the family upon the resolution of the internal dispute.
The statement aims to dispel misconceptions and prevent the spread of inaccurate information surrounding Mohbad’s affairs and the ongoing investigations.
