Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has issued a clear message to online trolls following unverified allegations concerning his personal life. A controversial blog recently accused Remi, along with other actors, of being involved in homosexual activities within the industry. The rumors quickly spread, sparking questions and negative comments on his social media platforms.
Taking to Instagram, Remi decisively addressed the situation, stating that he will not tolerate any form of negativity on his page. He emphasized that his platform is a space for “light and good vibes” and made it clear that anyone attempting to bring darkness, whether a fan, friend, or family member, would be blocked immediately.
“This page is for light and good vibes. I am not desperate for followers or engagement. If you come with darkness and negativity—from a blog, DM, or phone—I WILL BLOCK YOU!” Remi declared in his post.
He also emphasized the importance of protecting his energy and boundaries, sharing a broader message about the dangers of absorbing negativity. In a reflective Sunday message, the actor urged his followers to be mindful of the toxic content they engage with, warning that the internet has long-term memory and negative behavior can lead to lasting consequences, both personally and economically.
“People have unknowingly bound themselves to negativity, and even those who contribute to its spread will face its consequences,” he wrote. “Recklessly protect light and positivity, and unsubscribe from darkness.”
Kunle Remi, who married his partner Tiwi earlier this year, has made it clear that his focus is on maintaining peace, positivity, and mental well-being. His final words to his followers were simple yet powerful: “Love, Light, and things.”
By standing his ground, Remi has set a firm example of the importance of boundaries and positivity in the face of online trolling and baseless allegations.
