Kendrick Lamar recently released a new diss track titled “Euphoria,” targeting Drake in their ongoing feud. In the song, Lamar criticizes Drake’s authenticity as a rapper, calling him a “scam artist” and a “pathetic master manipulator.” Lamar also questions Drake’s biracial identity and fatherhood, suggesting Drake lacks experience in raising a child.
This latest chapter in their beef stems from Drake’s earlier diss tracks, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” where Drake challenged Lamar to respond. Lamar’s response, “Euphoria,” also references Drake’s controversial use of Tupac Shakur’s voice in a previous track, which led to legal threats from Tupac’s estate.
The feud between Lamar and Drake dates back to 2013, when Lamar rapped about wanting to “murder” Drake on a Big Sean song. Their rivalry intensified this year after Lamar rejected the idea of a “big three” in rap that included Drake and J. Cole. This ongoing feud has drawn in other artists like Rick Ross and Kanye West, adding layers to the conflict within the hip-hop community.
