Johnny Depp has addressed allegations of verbal abuse leveled against him by former co-star Lola Glaudini during the filming of the 2001 movie “Blow.”
Glaudini claimed in a podcast that Depp accosted her after the director instructed her to laugh during one of his monologues. She recounted Depp saying, “Who the f— do you think you are? Shut the f— up! I’m out here, and I’m trying to f—ing say my lines, and you’re f—ing pulling focus.”
Depp’s representative responded, stating that the actor values good working relationships with the cast and crew, and that Glaudini’s account differs greatly from others present on set.
Glaudini expressed disappointment at being scolded by someone she had idolized, but Depp’s camp maintains a different perspective on the incident.
The conflicting narratives underscore the complexities of interpersonal dynamics on film sets and the challenges of reconciling differing accounts of past events.
