Independent Investigation Clears MrBeast Co-Host of Grooming Allegations After Comprehensive Review

An independent investigation has found no evidence to support grooming allegations against Ava Kris Tyson, former co-host of popular YouTuber MrBeast, according to a statement released by MrBeast’s team. The probe, led by law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, concluded after a three-month review that included 39 interviews and analysis of over 4.5 million documents.

Tyson, 28, left MrBeast’s channel in July after being accused by online sources of sending inappropriate messages to a minor, then 13. Tyson denied the accusations, acknowledging that past online behavior included “edgy jokes” but asserting that no interactions were exploitative. The alleged victim, now 20, also refuted the grooming claims, calling them “false” and “massive lies” spread without their input.

The law firm’s investigation, commissioned by MrBeast LLC, examined messages and communications from Tyson’s various social media accounts, ultimately determining the accusations were unfounded. “The allegations were soundly rejected, including by the alleged victim,” the report stated.

Although the review identified some isolated incidents of workplace misconduct unrelated to Tyson, the company took immediate corrective actions, including policy updates and employee training to address corporate culture.

The resolution of these allegations comes as MrBeast, whose YouTube channel has grown to over 325 million subscribers, is also managing broader challenges, including criticism around working conditions on his new Amazon Prime reality show, “Beast Games.” While unrelated to the investigation, the company has implemented new measures to enhance corporate culture, including new leadership roles and anonymous reporting mechanisms.
