Former Miss South Africa 2018, Tamaryn Green Nxumalo, and her husband, Ze Nxumalo, are expecting their first child. The couple shared the joyful news on Instagram, revealing the pregnancy with a heartfelt post that coincided with Tamaryn’s 30th birthday.
In an Instagram reel, Tamaryn showcased her baby bump and a pregnancy scan, captioning it, “Couldn’t have asked for a better gift on my 30th birthday. What a blessing we’ve been given.” The announcement received an outpouring of congratulatory messages from friends and fellow Miss South Africa winners, including Zozibini Tunzi, Natasha Joubert, and Mia le Roux.
Tamaryn, who is also a medical doctor, married Ze in 2022 following a traditional Zulu ceremony and a white wedding. The couple has been together since their engagement in 2021. Tamaryn is known not only for her pageantry success, where she was crowned Miss South Africa and later became the first runner-up at Miss Universe 2018, but also for her work as a TB survivor advocating through her #breakthestigma campaign.
As they embark on this new chapter, Tamaryn expressed her excitement and gratitude, saying, “Thank you to everyone for all the heartfelt birthday and congratulatory wishes. We are beyond excited for the new journey ahead.”
