During her performance of “When We Were Young,” Adele spotted Dion in the audience. Overcome with emotion, Adele paused and approached Dion, who was seated in a side box. The two embraced warmly, with Dion holding Adele’s face in her hands and later kissing her hand as the British singer returned to the stage with tear-stained cheeks.
