The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the result slips for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are now available for printing. Starting from Monday, July 22, 2024, candidates can print their result slips exclusively at approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers.
These result slips, which feature candidates’ photographs and advanced security measures, are crucial for the admission process into tertiary institutions across Nigeria. According to JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, printing from cyber cafes or other internet-enabled platforms is not permitted to avoid fraudulent activities, such as score inflation.
Benjamin stressed the importance of using only authorized channels to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the documents. He reiterated that the physical copy of the result slip serves as a secure and verifiable record of each candidate’s performance in the UTME.
Earlier, JAMB revealed that three candidates—Olowu Joseph from Ondo State, Alayande David from Oyo State, and Orukpe Joel from Edo State—achieved the highest scores in the 2024 UTME with 367 marks each.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to follow JAMB’s guidelines meticulously to obtain their result slips securely and accurately, thereby safeguarding their academic futures.
