Subair Enitan, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, who undertook a handwashing marathon to establish a new Guinness World Record, has been hospitalized.
Enitan concluded the marathon in the early hours of Monday, surpassing her initial goal of 50 hours by completing it in 58 hours.
A video circulating on social media shows that her hands have turned white and wrinkled due to the extended handwashing.
Despite her remarkable effort, the Guinness World Record has not officially declared Enitan as a new record breaker.
