President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed the United Kingdom for Paris, France, where he is scheduled to attend an important engagement. This was confirmed by his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, on Friday, October 11.
Masari, through a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, shared that he visited President Tinubu at his private residence in the UK, where they had productive discussions before leaving for Paris. “Today, I had the honor of visiting President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions. We then departed for Paris, France, for another important engagement,” Masari wrote.
President Tinubu had been on a two-week working vacation in the UK, starting from October 2, as part of his annual leave. The specifics of his upcoming engagement in Paris were not disclosed.
This trip comes amid ongoing economic difficulties in Nigeria, where rising fuel prices and inflation have added to the challenges faced by many citizens.
