Bitget Wallet has unveiled OmniConnect, a new tool that enables Telegram Mini Apps to connect with more than 500 blockchain networks, including major platforms like Solana, TON, and Ethereum. This breakthrough development transforms Telegram Mini Apps, which were previously limited to The Open Network (TON), into a gateway for Web3 by enabling seamless multichain interaction.

The integration allows Telegram’s vast user base to conduct transactions across multiple blockchain ecosystems using Bitget Wallet. Developers can now easily create Mini Apps that engage with different blockchain networks, encouraging the growth of decentralized applications (dApps) within the Telegram platform.

Revolutionizing Web3 Access

Telegram Mini Apps are web-based programs embedded within the Telegram messaging app, enabling users to access various services without leaving their chats. Built using common web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, these apps provide a smooth, intuitive experience across mobile and desktop devices.

With OmniConnect, Bitget Wallet allows developers to build more versatile Mini Apps capable of interacting with multiple blockchain networks. This significantly boosts Telegram’s potential as a Web3 hub, making it easier for users to explore decentralized services and apps.

Driving Adoption of Blockchain on Telegram

Popular Mini Apps like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat have already drawn millions of users on Telegram through integration with TON. OmniConnect extends this functionality to a broader range of blockchains, creating new opportunities for developers and users alike.

Bitget Wallet, which has over 30 million users globally, aims to make decentralized technologies more accessible. The wallet supports secure logins via email, social media, and Telegram accounts, simplifying access for both new and experienced users.

In line with its mission to grow the Web3 ecosystem, Bitget has also committed a $20 million fund in collaboration with Foresight Ventures to support development on the TON blockchain. This fund will provide financial backing and resources to new projects, further accelerating the expansion of Web3 applications on Telegram.

OmniConnect represents a pivotal step in making blockchain more accessible to mainstream users, positioning Telegram as a key player in the evolving decentralized landscape.
