Renowned music director and cinematographer TG Omori, also known as ThankGod Omori Smith, is facing a serious health crisis after a recent kidney transplant attempt failed. The 29-year-old artist, who has been away from the spotlight, revealed that his brother had selflessly donated a kidney in a bid to save his life. Unfortunately, the transplant was unsuccessful.
Omori shared the distressing news on his social media platforms, posting images of himself in a hospital bed, visibly emotional and receiving oxygen. In his heartfelt messages, he expressed his fears, writing, “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
He also updated his followers on X, stating, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas, Lagos. Pray for me.”
This revelation has sparked an outpouring of support from fans and the public, with many offering prayers and words of encouragement as Omori battles this challenging ordeal.
