Sid Eudy, the WWE legend famously known as Sycho Sid, passed away at the age of 63 after a long battle with cancer, his family confirmed on Monday. Eudy, who also went by the ring names Sid Vicious and Sid Justice, was a towering figure in the wrestling world, celebrated for his dominance and charisma during the 1990s.

Eudy’s son, Gunnar, announced the news on Facebook, describing his father as “a man of strength, kindness, and love” who will be deeply missed. The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and shared that details for a memorial service would be announced soon.

Born on December 16, 1960, in West Memphis, Arkansas, Eudy began his wrestling career in 1989 with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he quickly gained notoriety. Standing at 6-foot-9, Eudy went on to become a six-time world champion, with titles in both WCW and WWE (then WWF). He headlined major events, including two WrestleManias, and faced off against legendary opponents like Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels.

The organization stated, “Sid’s influence can still be seen in wrestling rings around the world,” and extended condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
