Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have joyfully revealed the name of their fourth child, Olin, during the premiere of Reynolds’ latest film, “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
Speaking to the crowd, Reynolds expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I want to thank my wife Blake, who is here, and my kids James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment — the contents of this movie — will be the most traumatic thing that happens in your wondrous life.”
The couple, who welcomed Olin in 2023, had kept the baby’s name a secret until now. In a playful nod to their friend Taylor Swift, Reynolds had previously joked on the “Today” show that they were waiting for Swift to reveal the name, as she has done with their other children’s names in her songs.
Life with four children has been a whirlwind for Reynolds and Lively. Reynolds shared that their home is “a zoo,” but he wouldn’t have it any other way. “Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it,” he said, highlighting their excitement and love for their growing family.
The couple’s journey as parents has been filled with joy and humor. Reynolds, the youngest of four boys, has often talked about his experience with a chaotic household and his preference for being a girl dad. However, he cherishes the chaos and the strength his family gives him.
Fans first suspected the arrival of their fourth child after Lively posted a photo on Instagram during Super Bowl Sunday 2023, showing her without a baby bump. The caption, “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023. Been busy,” hinted at the newest addition to their family.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who have been married since 2012 and are also parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, continue to share their love and joy with their fans, making their family one of Hollywood’s most beloved.
