Elon Musk Endorses Trump After Rally Shooting

Elon Musk publicly endorsed Donald Trump for reelection on Saturday night, shortly after a shooting incident at Trump’s campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Trump was seen with blood on his face and was quickly escorted off stage by the Secret Service.

Musk expressed his full support for Trump on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.” He also compared Trump to Theodore Roosevelt, highlighting his toughness.

Following the incident, Musk commented on the situation by suggesting that he might need to build a “flying metal suit of armor” due to safety concerns, reflecting on previous threats against him. Musk also mentioned that he had made a substantial donation to the pro-Trump America PAC.

The rally shooting resulted in one attendee and the shooter being killed. The FBI is investigating, but the noises have not been officially confirmed as gunshots yet. Trump’s spokesperson confirmed that he is fine and thanked law enforcement for their response.

Musk’s endorsement and donation mark a notable shift in his public stance, as he had previously avoided endorsing any presidential candidate.
